Dallas Cup | Using Influencers to Capture Valuable User Data

This project’s particular challenge was to see if we could engage that base of people that love the Dallas Cup and new ones that have never heard of it through social media, blogs on Dallas Cup’s website, and a data capture driven contest. All of this had to be accomplished with just $1,000 in digital advertising spend. Our solution was to create articles written by a soccer influencer, ESPN sports writer Steve Davis (and ardent DC advocate), distribute those articles through highly targeted digital advertising on Facebook, and capture data in a special Dallas Cup branded Adidas track jacket giveaway.
